Who we are
Inside the Sandbox is a tag team of developers with a combined experience of over 30 years of computer programming, application and website development, and graphic design. From the early days of monochrome monitors, 16-bit graphics and 8 MHz processors, they took what equipment they had and used it to their full potential keeping one thing in mind: that anything is possible.
Having worked independently and in tandem with the best firms in the business they now join forces utilising their complimentary skills to produce websites, applications and graphic art, while continuing to push their boundaries with every new project. They are:
Petros
Petros began experimenting with programming languages long before the words ‘personal’ and ‘computer’ were part of the same sentence. His interest in code far outweighed his former career path and education (including a Masters in environmental engineering) to broaden his knowledge base and experience in several computer languages, and to develop the ability to construct complex programming applications.
Having seen many technologies throughout the years, his expertise at the present includes the following:
- Progamming in Visual Studio Environment (.NET)
- Programming in AML, Autolisp, C++ & PHP
- Custom content management systems for web development
- Proficiency in the Drupal content management system
- Database expertise (SQL)
- GIS / Mapping Applications
- Vector editing programs (AutoCAD)
- Application development for mobile devices
Kassandra
On an endless quest to make the unknown known, Kassandra is a self-professed information junkie always on the lookout for the latest trends, technologies and artistic techniques. Having experimented with various programs and platforms throughout the years, she brings her experience to the Sandbox while still looking forward to discovering new and better ways to communicate visually through the electronic medium.
The skills she brings to the Sandbox include HTML/CSS web authoring, graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator), Flash programming, and dynamic site creation using PHP within the Drupal and Wordpress content management systems. She also holds a business and economics degree and utilises that knowledge in marketing and e-business consulting.

Deven
Based in London (UK), Deven is a professional computer programmer with expertise in creating sophisticated applications using Flash and Coldfusion. He is also proficient in the creation of e-Learning applications, Javascript, C++, HTML/CSS & Windows applications.
Konstantin
Konstantin has been working as an accessibility expert and web developer for the last 5 years. The past two years he has been working with Chrysallis – Close to Disability Organisation – as a technical director and accessibility consultant. His skill set includes, but is not limited to: a thorough knowledge in open source software, specialization in Drupal, expertise in e-learning environments and graphic design. His tools of the trade include (X)HTML, CSS, PHP/MySQL, Photoshop, Illustrator among others. He is a programmer and designer, passionate about Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, W3C Compliance, and latest trends in web development.
Akis
Akis been working as a web developer and graphic designer for several years through developing numerous drupal websites and web applications. His skill set includes thorough knowledge of PHP/MySQL, template design, 3D Modeling and digital/traditional illustration, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & Cinema 4D.
