Next up is Mediafiltr – a community based news and information website built on the Pligg platform. It is a non-profit site designed with the purpose of separating the truth from all the disinformation and propaganda being broadcasted by the mass media. The functionality behind the site allows members to vote on news stories with the purpose of filtering the ones they feel are legitimate from the ones they believe are disinformation or propaganda.
